Tour Overview: The Alison Road Walking Tour retraces the route of the earliest pioneers to settle in the Wyong region more than one hundred years ago. The tour begins at the railway station, where the township was first settled in 1887 and continues along Alison Road, where traces of Wyong’s pioneering past can still be found. As you walk, you will follow in the footsteps of convicts, timber cutters, farmers, butchers, blacksmiths and publicans all alike. Along the way, you will see the buildings in which these pioneers lived and worked, and uncover the stories and secrets hidden beneath the sandstone façade. . . .
